It took me a day to do a SYE

I'm going on day 3 replacing these rear leafs on my xj. The front bolts that go in to the unibody were totally frozen. 1 can of PB Blaster later, and I've gotten them off. I have gone through 2 additional sets of help too. Those things wear you out! At any rate, they're out. NOW, the bolts...

    Need some help here SYE

Worked like a charm! All bolted in and up and running! Driveline vibe is gone! Thanks a lot Marc! Now I don't have to wake up an hour earlier to ride the bus!

    Need some help here SYE

I basically need a larger yoke for the rear end. The one on there now is (now) too small to accomidate the new u joint that came with the new drive shaft. I'm in Bothell.

    Need some help here SYE

Ok, it's all pretty much done. But, I mad an error in measurement on the u joint/new driveshaft. I'm a 1/4" off. the new u joint is 3.5" and my yoke (chry 8.25) is for 3 1/4". I don't suppose anyone here has one sitting around or knows where I can get one today?

Question about swapping the cab on a toyota

Ok, I'll do that. Just browsing around on some of the other boards and craigslist, I see people parting trucks out including the cab. Always wondered about how people did that. Wanted to also see if anyone here has done that as well.

Question about swapping the cab on a toyota

Regarding licensing. How does this even work? The vin plate is right there on the dash. Does one just pry off the old one and find a way to put it on the "new cab"? There's always the door plate too. What's the scoop on these kind of swaps? I don't need to do one. But, it'd be good to know.

    Is this a G52??

Origional as far as I know. I was told by the previous owner that it had 80k, and by his co-worker (I believe) that it had 30k.. The truck it's self has 245k. So, obviously the whole setup was swapped in. Either way, I need a new one as first gear is no longer.

    Is this a G52??

This could mean absolutely nothing as well. If that's the case, let me know a better way to identify it. the T-case shifter is the bottom one.

    Crashfab'd minivan from hell!

Yeah. A toyota I know absolutely nothing about. Repair manual finally came in. So, I've got it right here and am looking at random things. I got so manythings I want/need to do to this thing. Number one right now though is a new tranny. So, I have to identify somehow what the hell it is...

    Crashfab'd minivan from hell!

Looks good Kelly. I don't know if you remember me or not. I was the guy who was at Kens one time (blue TJ) getting rocker guards made/installed. Then that Chris guy came over with a beat to **** cherokee that we swapped a bunch of parts from that one to his running XJ at the time.. If that...
