    pook?

You should probably change the transmission fluid before you go. It got up to like 300F after the epoxy that was holding the fan motor to the shroud let go. :awesomework:

Careful... those pokey straws can put out an eye.

    Back from the Rubicon!

What day did you guys arrive? We were rolling out to Loon on Friday night, loaded up and left on Sat. AM. Helluva traffic jam with all the Marlin guys coming in.

    D60 Gears

You can get thick gears for the <4.10 carrier. As for prices, pick up the phone and start calling. FWIW, I used to have a piece of paper around here somewhere with the prices from a half-dozen different vendors back when I was regearing an axle. Prices on individual parts - install kits...

    1990 f250 starter swich???????

Going off of memory, there are a bunch of little crappy pot metal pieces around the lock cylinder that can break and cause all sorts of problems. Also, it seems like the actual electrical switch is down under the dash, connected with the cylinder by some long rods inside the column. Assuming...

    the new fattness...

He says he's been driving it around (the yard?) a bit. Needed a new front DS, shocks in front, maybe a bumper, and he needed to put nuts on all of the bolts. Roobercon trip kicks off in 10 days.....

    the new fattness...

There's only one way to find out.... My gut says you'd be better off with something that had a bit less uncontrolled droop... although it may not matter if you've got plenty of room to stuff the tires. Combine that with a center limiting strap (which I'm guessing you'll want regardless of the...

    the new fattness...

If you're really that light.... why not air shocks? Cost-wise, they're close to what a decent set of monotubes cost.... and yeah, they've got drawbacks, but no moreso than 2nd hand TJ springs.

    the new fattness...

Just because they're not parallel with the ground doesn't mean they're "flexed". The bushing itself is normalized, doesn't have any forces (bind) in it when the truck is sitting still and square.

Is there any room to brace the lowers back to the frame? Or does the 205 become permanently installed at that point?

    Building my junk.

Is the new pan gasket one of the reinforced one-piece gaskets? Ford sells them, all one piece with metal reinforcement in the side rails.... very nice.

    the new fattness...

Hmmm.... wouldn't the more honest way to describe it go something like, "since the transmission in the Zuk finally blew up on Amber after I spent the last couple of yrs ragging on it." :flipoff: Photos are cool.... how's that 205 come out of there with the crossmember in the way? Up and out...

Sounds like user error. Speaking of pictures.....?

If you hadn't spent all Friday pissing around in the scrapyard, I suspect you might have gotten more accomplished. :flipoff: Me? I spent the better part of Sunday playing Xbox. It was hot outside.
