I got a couple cv joints the guy I got the jeep from gave me. either way I either have to move the rear end or lower the suspension, I heard that a turbo 350 is smailer in length then a turbo 400 is this true?

I got a 79 cj7, has 350 th400 not sure on t-case(has no tag) has 4 inch suspension lift with spring over axle kit, my problem is the rear drive shaft, the angle is to steep and too short. I rotated the axle a little bit and still not working out, its a trail only rig. Any help with my problem...

ok will do, is it possible to flip my axle over, its a lower pinion, and by flipping it the pinion would be on top

No theres no rear drive shaft the angle is to much and short, i need to shorten something to get it to work,

the top diff pic is the front and bottom is rear

im pretty sure its got a NP208 it is aluminum case. but Ill have pics tomorrow.

Im new to jeepin and I just bought a 79 cj7 I think it has a 6 inch leaf spring lift, 35 swampers, 350 with a turbo 400, not sure on the transfer case I cant find the ID tag, and I also think it has dana 44 front and rear cant find any markings on either dana to prove it, my biggest problem is...

im in central kentucky and i guess i want a basic tube frame not a lego car with swampers on it lol
