I've used them for almost 10 years and love them. Substantially cuts down unload/load time, rarely comes loose, and very versatile. I have two with the loops attached to the strap, and two that have the loops separate. Both work great.

. It's a 4x4, with no lift and rolling on just 285/75/16 MT's. The mileage was hand calculated, and we were surprised it gets better fuel economy than our Trailblazer. We drive mostly on the freeways, so that may play into the mileage.

I have daily driven my 04 HD 2500 Duramax for the past five years and LOVE IT; we drive it anywhere from 5-60 mins for a commute. It gets between 20-22 MPG, with NO mods other than an intake. It rides better than the wife's Trailblazer, has VERY nice creature comforts with heated leather...

I have an XD9000 that did that...and didnt like to free-spool out very nice. I rebuilt it myself, and it works like a champ now. These are easy to rebuild, just look up a schematic on-line, and get the parts. Also...USE some good grease...just not too much or the clutch won't release correctly.
