    ok so the deal is this, i got a complete 85 22re that came out of a stock solid axled 4runner with an automatic trans. I am trying to put the motorand harness from the 85 into my 89 Runner and i ran into a problem with two plugs right next to the computer that dont match the ones in my 4runner...

    i have the factory harness, i dont know how much of it to keep tho. For the drivetrain i was thinking about running the stock toyota 5 speed and t-case. im half tempted to part out the doner car and just get 22re because it would be faster.

    ok so im pondering the idea of putting a 4.3 chev. vortec in my 89 runner. i have the donner car (aka) chev s10 blazer. what would i need to take electronicly to make it work in my 4runner. im on a tight budget so the less stuff i have to buy for it the better.

    so i called tw's to place my order for my u-joint and the person on the other end of the line told me they dont make them for and 84 toyota front drive shaft. does anyone have them on their toyota, if so how did u get them to fit. phil

    i was looking at the superflex u-joints that r on tom woods web page, they make sence to me but has anyone used them, if so were their any problims with them. im just looking for a wallet freindly way to fix the binding problim i have with my front driveshaft

    yeah, im not really worried about how it drives on the street. the only time i drive it is to rieter anyway. i live within 20 of reiter and its already a nightmare on the street, no power steering.

    they are 5 leaf waggys in the front with a 2 inch shackle lift. i dont have the bank roll for dual cases.
