my new build did the same thing this weekend and when we put the scanner on it it showed knock sensor codes, cleared the code and rode the rest of the day without issue. I will be ordering new sensors this afternoon
I would suggest a built rig and plenty of spare parts as Clayton is hard on parts and will find the weakest one. On another note, if you do decide to make the trip then let me know and I will arrange a group to ride with and point out the fun stuff
I wired in a driver tether from a boat to kill the motor and fuel pump, pretty simple setup that seems to be what you are after. I found the ignition wire and fuel pump wire and spliced the switch into them. Once pulled it kills the motor and fuel but still allows the winch to work for self...
