When I did my 3rz swap into my 83 I swapped in the entire harness, ignition, fuse box and everything. I didn't hardly have to cut a wire.Once I got he truck running I cleaned it up a little. Do you have a whole donor truck?

I use the 9mil ones from harbor freight and have never torn one. They're awesome! I reuse the same pair over and over until I get them real nasty.
