Our 2006 F150 Supercrew FX4 with the 5.4L and 9.75" rear diff did just fine pulling the Jeep and trailer to Moab last year (about 6800 lbs). There are quite a few mountain passes between here and Moab, the tallest being around 10K ft. Topped all of the passes at 55 mph to 60 mph, no problem...

Stock 03 to 06 Rubicons had 16x8 rims with 5" backspacing and 245/75R16 Goodyear MTRs. 07 and up have 17" rims, but I don't know the specs on them...

Same here - I've seen both fail, and if I'm ever standing next to a winch line that fails, I sure hope it is rope...

I have an automatic, so the Jeep is in Park, and the parking brake is set, then I strap it down with straps to the axles. :redneck:
