I'm curious to know if the DNR has closed evans for the year being snow has not hit yet but it is after the 15th...?? Does anyone have any known info on the subject?

its strange how fast the rev limiter arrives in 3rd gear! And, even on the crap Toyo's it seems to get up on stuff when needed. It was awesome to run into the group Sunday! Awesome to wheel again with some old faces and new!

wellp, after 9 months of half ass working on this thing, I have a short update, with a more blah blah blah blah later.

Chopped the housing down to width today and stuffed some knuckle balls in place. Rotated to where I "think" they should be, but I will wait to weld them just in case. Slow progress, but I would rather do it right rather than have to work backwards.

Yup, Max's old Tacoma. The plan is a SAS, Ruff stuff housing, elocker up front, gear drive case with 4.7's Of course, that brings its own challenges with the exhaust being on the same side as the case drop. So, blah blah blah blah. I did think about going four link, but the cost is a bit high...

Awesome to see Stumpy still kicking around!!! Sorry about the whole first gen frame with the second gen body thing....my bad... That was my first attempt at a mis matched mess. Though, none of the chassis is my doing. Just the horse collar clearance and bed bobb!

Just another build thread on a Tacoma some of you may remember. I've had the tacoma for a few months now, but am finally getting to it! So, this is how I received it and how I shall begin!

I heard the 6.0 was designed for head stubs, but ford didn't want to have the cost go up, so they went with Bolts. Dee de deee. Also, studs in oil doesn't give nearly as accurate reading as the goo the studs come with. And, it doesn't go on the threads, but the mating surface. Woooo!!!!!

The toy pump might not have enough flow for the bigger motor's needs. There are many options for in tank pumps, they are fairly generic if you are handy. Can toss in an in-tank pump and rig it up pretty easy.
