So Brian and I joined Bobby and Tina Long for a run up at Evans today. Things were much better this time around than New Year's Day. There was still much snow, but with the rain, the top had frozen and hardened making the snow less powdery. We hit the 311 a & b, punched through the drifts on the main road back. We played at the bowl, the gravel pit entrance to the 198. We tried to hit the 197... hit a few major mud holes... then ran into a huge snow drift and were forced to turn around. Coming back we hit the switch backs.

*****Pictures and videos to follow******

here are a couple.

Thanks for the report. Good to hear there is more traction to be had now that the snow is improving. Last couple times I was up there it was very slick.

Last video was funny with the song in the back ground. "How could I ever, ever surivieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

There are a few more videos......you tube is messing up so ill get them up soon.

Your going to need to fix that!!:haha: my wife would be playing the same shiat.

Man thats a pretty big drop if thats on the steep side of the rock face, the sloping side is less intimidating but you still make me feel like a pansie. I guess the snow would keep your roof skin from getting too dented though :flipoff: Cool videos.

Thats the furthest one you can go down on the right side as you drive into the bowl. Its not as bad when you go slow.
