We had a group of 6 rigs with us. But we ran into a group of about 4 yota's. I think one was primer gray on about 35"s. Then sunday we ran into the Quadrapaws, Thanks again for letting us by. It looked like you guys had you hands full.

But our group consisted of myself, Rick (fortic), Porter, Eric (cant remember his SN),Mike (Pirateiron), and Broch. I thnk all of us received some sort of damage. I ripped off one of my rear corner guards, rivets just dont to the trick. Also I broke a front leaf which had a chain reaction and took out a shock and exhuast. But I did make it out on my own power with no winching.

Looks like fun (given how dirty the rig is!!!:D ) That area is my old stompin grounds, well near there---kinda! (Sequim)....I've got my 20 yr reunion coming up this summer, I should bring my wheeler & check out Sadie....

Its a blast man. A couple of new trails plenty to keep you busy and wear your ass out in a day.

I'll definitely have to check it out----my reunion is in Aug; I'm sure it's pretty dry by then:booo:

I ran that trail the weekend before, pretty dry so you drive right through...but when it's wet:cool:

Looked kinda wet to me.....Man that is my kind of trail!!!tight, twisty, and muddy!!!:awesomework: I MUST get over there.....will likely be much dryer this summer...:booo:

sadie

There is always water in a couple holes but when the whole trail is wet it's a lot of fun We run it often in the winter, it's close to home for us!

Joop-
Didn't you break a leaf spring last year? Was it the same brand of spring that you broke this time? What kind of springs do you have?

I broke a rear this past october. That was due to some pretty nasty axle wrap while landing on a bounce going uphill :redneck: Plus these leafs are 4 years old and have about 20,000 hard and mostly trail miles on them and a few comps. I bought these from Ted Grady, they came off his comp YJ. So they were broke in when I got them and worked very well. But they are/were skyjack 4" leafs. :awesomework:

Well, when I get down that way, we'll have to set up a run?:awesomework: It'd be  to wheel w/ some other peninsula dudes......

That explains why its so damn dug out. Last time I ran that 2 years ago it was still new. No ruts just slime. But this time of the year its perfect. The ruts made it easier for me honestly. I dont know if I'm liking having a detroit up front. This damn ting does turn worth a **** anymore. I'm a master of a pivot turn and 3 points. :booo:

I bet in a year or 2 that trail will be the new busy wild.

How many miles of trails is up there, it looks pretty tight, we may have to set up a club run out there

The main line used to be 1.8 miles (???) but they added on a loop which is new and then ties into the last part which makes you run the trail backwards. Probably makes it about 3.5-4 miles ???? But they are some service roads whic can lead you down to a beech from what I have heard. But we couldn't find it sunday. There's a pretty cool view point that over looks the strait. Good place to take lunch but only fits about 4 rigs safely. Very steep drop off with thick vegitation. Looks painful if you fall. Then there is a short trail about a 1/4 mile long that is new and very, very tight, wiht a big huge tree just waiting to crush ya with a kinda height restriction too. I nailed this sucker and added a few new cracks in the windshield.

But definatly pplenty to do during a day. You'll be dead tired by the end. :awesomework:

I'm going to have to wait for the Willy's to be done. My Runner's not going to fit under that tree!

Just wait a little while, the trail is within the timber sale that is going on, and will be logged, then you can fit the 4runner in there. :redneck:
