I posted this on the other board too but i figured it was worth seeing. A friend of ours had a near flopping experience thats worth seeing.

Ive heard of a few people near flopping there but this was the closest that ive ever witnessed. I went up there a few months back and cut to the left a little too soon and ended up with a tire 6' off the ground myself. Even then I wasnt near this close to flopping.

It is very easy end up in a bad spot there. I have never had a problem just driving right over it. Here is Supsa after a very near roll.

Been there.

Try going down it, at night. Its way more fun.

"Gas it Bill, Gas it!!!!!"

"Whoa ****!"

BOOM!!!CRASH!!!!!:haha: :haha: :haha:

:awesomework: Just like pat said (nail it ,crash boom bang!!!!):redneck: :redneck: :redneck:  woops almost forgot ( OH ****!!!!)......  :;

I can see how maybe different runs bring different results, but I took my '91 Toy through there about a year and a half ago when it was still IFS.

He turned left. I made the same wrong turn a month ago and pulled a similar manouver, then lost the bead on my passenger front tire when I attempted to back up. Rooky mistake

I watched a friend flop off that rock and roll down the cliff in YJ. He did the same thing but was farther to the passenger side.

:haha: O ya!!!! FLOP!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :;

i would like to know just how mark flopped his buggy on that.:flipoff: ive never driven through there but it seems that its perfect for most vehicles to give you a good ass pucker and no flop. ive seen many vehicles nearly on their sides or over the edge but rarely flopped. so the line on the farthest right, and steering left too early combo seems to be the mistake it seems.

Man, my wheeling ability sucks BAD.

Ive still never made it over that place. I keep getting caught up where my rear wont push my front up anymore because of that big rock on the drivers side.

The rear hits at the same time the front does with my wheelbase, its obnoxious. I even tried going way up to the drivers side to try and get both fronts on that smaller rock and dirt pile in the middle, but that doesnt work either because I always get one front and both rears spinning. That rock in the back is like an anchor no matter where I put my front it seems. Way to the left, way to the right, I still cant step over that damn rock!

These pictures show the last line I tried and still got nowhere :booo:

At one point, this was another line I tried, but when I tried to turn back to the drivers side, I couldnt get traction with my bald tires on wet rocks.

This was before the new suspension, steering, etc though too. Im thinking I might try this line again with the new parts and tires.

A little to the drivers side, not turn drivers but start into it more to the drivers side and keep that line. Try to stay out of the dirt hole on the passenger side by the "safety" rock.

Sounds like you need lockers though?

Thats kind of where I was trying to head if you look at the first picture, but the back slides to the passenger side when I try to head up the rock. That, and once my front tire clears, I hit my frame on the rock below on the drivers side. Then, when I try and move forward each time and get nowhere, I roll back and I move passenger more and more because the rock is like a ramp pushing me down each time my frame hits it. I figured those tire marks on the rocks were there for a reason, haha.

Ive got a rear spool, but no front locker. I think that may have a lot to do with my problems, but who knows. The front just doesnt "pull up" when it needs to because the other tire just spins, haha.
