M12000 = 125' of 3/8 cable, 30 feet a minute, 136 lbs.
M8000 (For comparison) = 80' 5/16 cable, 42 feet a minute, 74 lbs.
Whats bad: Its a little slow and a little heavy.
Whats good: Its a Warn and its BIG.
If you can handle the extra weight on the nose of your rig I say go for it.
