A friend recently bought my old parts hauler, affectionatly known as "The Tomato". Veggies, I know?!:haha: It replaced my old green ford half ton which was given the name "Pickle" years ago.

He figured it would be easier to gut a clean 2X than start with an overpriced, beat, non virgin 4X4.:awesomework: The 2x frame should help keep it as low as possible compared to a IFS frame.

Heres a couple pics of the truck when I had it. STOCK! A roof/tube rack, canopy, just plain old granpa truck. It was my craigs list devilery rig! Ask Odie how many Knockin (cringe:eeek:) ass miles I put on her!:cheer:

The plan goes as follows...........:corn:

1.....Big rubber..:cheer:.....Brand new (first set in Washington) 42 inch SXs!!:awesomework:

2.....Links

3.....Airshocks

4.....Dual cases

5.....Tube bumpers and sliders and cage

6.....Hydro or hydro assist

7.....Longs, Hubs, 5th stud, detroit/welded, 5.29s armor, etc.

8.....Tubed out rear, getting cut behind cab.

9.....Custom steel fuel tank

10....Pimp seats

11....loud exhaust

12....Bobby Long beadlocks:beer:

And a whole lot of welder wire and torch gas!!:redneck:

New tires and beadlocks.

These tires are baddass. I have been running SXs for years and wished they made a 42, now they do. As soon as we heard the new sizes they got ordered the next day. Been waitin on them for awhile. They showed up so now its time to get to work.:awesomework:

Took the rims over to KENS POWDERCOATING for a little love.

They look good in traditional Longfield Red on the ring and black on the rim.

The tires are a 42x15x15. HUGE lugs!! They remind me of a 47LTB more than an SX.:bling:

My rules were simple.

No fender removal! Damn:mad: I get to stuff these as tight as I can and leave the stock headlight and marker intact. Yes he is a true/hardcore toyota lover.

Heres the stance Im hoping for.:awesomework:

poor little toy axles.

thats a fact:rolleyes:

Thats ok. :76:

I told him to put 60s or rockwells under it.

He was insistant on trying the toy axle for awile (he already had the front end built).
Its kinda like job security for me. I have warned and advised and he insists. I cant be responsible for his bad decisions:booo:

It will be easy. A few days and a few tabs and a couple sixties are in his future.

ya i am sure they will hold up for a while... nothin wrong with toy ****, just statin the obvious, that being that they will not last

i 86'd my yota **** and opened a big can of worms(one ton ****) fawk it aint cheap:puke: hijack over

oh ya those sx's are pimp:cool: how were they?

Ok its been a while but the owner has been collecting better parts.

I got the 5 speed in and dual case adapter installed with the second box. Git all up and in place and ready to start the first welds on it finnaly.

The tranny/tcase mount/crossmember and lower link subframe are first on the list. This secures the drivetrain and will determine WB and locate axles.

So hows that Chili Peppa doing nowya days?

It got scrapped and the drivetrain parts turned into a buggy.

The buggy has been wheeled three times and will be out getting beat this weekend.

Way better than a truck build. Ill get some current pics this weekend.

Hmmm.... I don't know if I am right on the name (Ryan?) Is that his old chassis? Cuz it sure looks like it with the rolled fenders and the one foot of frame left. I wish I could have picked up the shell when he sold it but whatever, at least its getting used. Still looks just as good too!:awesomework:

Yes this is Ryans's old chassis. Its new owner likes it much now that its all finished up. I dont understand how it sat on the board for so cheap for so long.

Wait, actually I do.

Your sirs are cheap fawkers and posers
