Les (HLB3) and I ran around Elbe on Sunday. All in all was a good trip, one of my trailer brakelights grew legs and wandered off, I some how bent the caliper bolts on my rear D44. Les tore the shock mount off his rear-end. We started with two other rigs but one lost a u-joint within 30 minutes, and the other guy ended up getting sick.

We skipped the Busy and Easy and ran everything else. The weather even played nice.

I flopped on the Alder Loop, was the slowest flop ever.

Les made a nice bomb up the rainier vista, lost his transfer case skid plate in the process.

I managed to get planted on the end of the Rainer Vista, had to winch to get myself loose.

Then we ended the day with a trip through the swap trail.

Here's some pictures Les took.

Looks like a good day nick. Our rigs have changed a little in the last 7 years I guess. Let me know when you want to come up north and I'll show you around.

You get weekends off Brad? My last trip to Walker sucked. I wouldn't mind getting up there again to check it out.

I had no idea you drove a buggy Nick.:eeek:

Looks like a good day out in Da Hills.

Well it's more a truggy by definition I suppose. Toyota frame from the B-pillar forward. At one time it was the rig Nick Capa built for Ultimate Adventure, I bought it off Larry a while back. The cab area was too small for me so Les helped me rebuild everything between the A and B pillars.

This winter I plan to redo everything forward of the A-pillar to get rid of the original toyota fire-wall and make it more struturally sound.

Glad you could make it out Derrick. :awesomework:

Yeah it was a pretty good day, it's too bad half our group had to leave. I'm glad we got out at least one more time before the snow starts.

I always forget what it use to look like with all the skins covering up the booty fab. :haha: :redneck:
