The V-notch at Walker Valley

No that isn't the egg rock, the egg rock is on the last leg of expressway as you are on your way up. It narrows as an egg does so if you climb it high side (with wet tires) you'll end up low side hung on a tree. It looks easy on approach, but I have seen alot of guys get messed up bad on it.
I will try to come up with some pics of it?

Nope, that's a big negative Ghostrider :redneck:...the Egg Rock IS the one up top of Ron's Run....The other rock used to be a fairly small obstacle, made easily by a stock rig... but over time has cropped up to be what it is now...there really isn't a name for that rock...
This is the egg rock...it too has been enlarged by use; used to be you either crawled over it, or climbed up the left side of it, and it was inevitable you were gonna incurr rocker damage without sliders, but the dirt has been sluffed off that side where you can get around it now...

This is funny!we all use the the same name for different stuff. The one I was talking about has become much more of an issue lately. It is easy enough but throw in a flat tire on the downhill front tire, and all of a sudden it gets alot harder.

here it is after we got the tire seated back up -walked it- on the high side even.

BTW pics from below it do not do it justice. It isn't any insane obstacle but it is easily twice as bad as the first time I went to Walker three years ago.

Add a little water and the high side of that rock becomes a Jeep eater! Man I want to get my truck done so I can go wheeling!

BTW I got confirmation from Jim Cahill, that it was someones poor idea of a joke, to put the "no vehicles" markers in front of the V-Notch. He actually said that some moron has been doing it all over Walker (pulling those markers from their legitamate locations, and placing them in other areas.) Who thinks that something of that sort is funny?:eeek::mad:
