Just made a long trip back from Moab. About 5 hours from Tacoma I got a check engine light. Scanned it when I got home and it was P2285 Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low. I was able to clear the code, but haven't driven it yet. This is on a 2004 F350 with about 60K, build date is 03/04. Is it the sensor, where is it located? Everyone says an early 04 should be below/behind the turbo. Mine looks like it's in the valve cover?

I cleared a P2285 code and it checks out fine (no oil on connector, .23 ICV). Truck has a lack of power and won't down shift when I try WOT. Replaced the turbo and still lacks power and low boost. EBP sensor and tube are off. Brake cleaner through the tube. What I can see doesn't seem that bad. IPR KOEO 14.9, running 30.5. ICV KOEO.27, running 1.17. ICP KOEO 8, running 860 Any ideas?

The ICP connectors are also known for broken wires right at the sensor connector. Have you replaced the ICP yet? Have you checked for sensor power, signal return ,and ground integrity?

Also, check the harness between the ICP, AND the FICM, for schaffing....could be a simple case of bad wiring.

No, I haven't replaced the ICP. Harness looks good. I have had the connector off and it looked fine.

Finally got this figured out. Driver's side intercooler tank was split. I couldn't see it while installed. A Mishimoto intercooler is on it's way.
