Disc Golf???

Anyone disc golf on here?

I just started about 2 weeks ago, just got back from the high school cranking out some shots, getting ready for the weekly DG round. Some guys at work got me hooked on it. pretty fun i must say...

It's like golf....with frisbees:awesomework:

There is a course within a 5 minute walk from my house, use to play with my dad when i was younger

When I lived in Virginia there was a really nice public course.

I used to play all the time till I realized I sucked.

theres a public course in Lake Stevens. I've never been, but there are people playing there all the time.

I here it's a fairly tough course. I played at redmond last week, pretty fun, WET though, it's like a swamp out there :mad:

Ha, I'm sure it is pretty fun. I could come to the school with you to practice/return discs...

It is way fun, although i don;t suggest being on the recieving end of one, they hurt, lol. but definitly better than those hippy throwing "ultimates"

I play on the LS course. Its good and challenging. Also played on the one down south... Dont like it as much though...

I think disc golf is a relatively new sport. I find it to be a grown-up Frisbee.

It's a stick in the ground with a basket with chains that you throw a frisbee-type disc at. The basket is the hole.

I enjoy it. Played it in college back in the early 2000’s. Took a 15 year hiatus from it and started playing again last year. Play all the time now. Great physical and mental exercise. Got to keep that cardio up as you get older. Best of all it cost pennies compared to my wheeling habit.
