Is it possible to run these motors without a computer if you put a regular intake and distubuter.( not sure how to spell. it )and put a propane setup on it?

Sure, Stick a carb intake and a HEI distributor on it, block off the EGR valve and you're good to go. If you have all the TBI stuff, I'll do some trading with you for what you need.

I don't have any of the wiring harness or computer but everything else is there
.some poepole have told me it will never run because of the crank. Sensor. But I belive it will

i am running a '97 5.7 on propane only changed intake and put a dist. in it

The Vortec heads have higher intake ports. Several companies make a single or a dual manifold to match these heads.
A propane system is not a problem.

Just look at the intake manifold bolts, the Vortec manifold has 8 bolts which go into the head vertically. Old style heads have 12 bolts at 90 degrees to the head intake surface. I have a Vortec carb intake I'd sell or trade if that's what you need. TBI engine could have either one depending on year.

Here is the intake I have
