He was playing on a hill and some how a branch flipped up and came thru the floor board and thru his leg. He was pinned in there for about an hour before they got him cut out.

how did that happen?
[/quodte]Climbing a hill and it came through the floor pan/firewall area. These pics were after they had cut the limb off on either side of his leg. It was bout 8' ft long I heard, not sure how much actually went through his leg. Lucky it just got muscle and not artery!!!!

lucky it wasn't artery or ****. Either way that's a bad end.

I helped stabilize the stick when it was being cut into. It went through the firewall right above the brake pedal.

Look ma he's got wood. The best I've seen personally was an impaled fence post from a chain link fence.

I'm gonna be honest, I've thought about something like this happening with a buggie. When those guys start flipping over trees and bushes this type of thing is possible!! I hope the best for this guy, and hope everyone tries to continue to be as safe as possible doing this sport!! Big HP buggies and and heavy right foot is awesome to watch!!! I like the crawling part of it but could just as easily happen doing that!!
