Effing snow in the ham

I am working in south Georgia this week but know a lot of people that had to walk home after getting stuck or wrecking. Everyone with 4x4 said they were getting around fine but dodging the stuck cars everywhere was causing major delays.

It was suppose to sleet/snow here but I haven't seen anything other than rain all day.

Yea it was bad took 4hr to get from moody to leeds and back

Just got an update from the family.

My brother is stuck in traffic on 280. He's been there since 3 trying to get to his wife who has been stuck in Pinson since 2.

Mom is having to staying at the daycare in Grayson Valley because a lot of the parents can't get there to pick up their kids.

One of sisters is a teacher and stuck at school with a few kids. Me and another guy from the shop are camped out up the street at my parents house.

The gov said earlier that all our snow equipment got sent south since thats where all this was supposed to hit.

Looks like my brother in law is spending the night in the car on I20 near Bass pro exit

Took me from 11:30 to 7:00 to go from Pelham hwy 52 to Chelsea. Was so thankful to make it home. I got on my 4wheeler and went back to hwy 11 and started giving rides to the stuck people that were walking. Took them all to Chelsea high school where they were letting people stay the night. I couldn't stand the cold anymore so I'm home eating dinner now. Guess I'll get a little sleep and go back in the morning and see if there's anything I can do.
