COAL - 2nd Annual St. Judes 4wheeling - April 12, 2014

Overly's Off Road & Rattle Rock Club is hosting the 2nd Annual 4-Wheeling for a cure ride at Windrock. This is a benifit to raise money for St. Jude's Childrens Research Center. In Memory Of Brian & Janet Overly's daughter Brendle Overly, Jim Tunnell, D.A. Young, Kenneth Spence. If you would like to participate in the 4-Wheelng event or just hang out and watch the fun it is April 12th, 2014 at Winrock Park in Oliver Springs, TN. Event starts at 9:00 am. You will need to purchase a Windrock Park Day Pass for $17 if you want to hit the trails. Please help spread the word! Donations or Products to Raffle off will be greatly appreciated!

Knox Off Road is sponsoring an Extreme Powerwheels Race at 1:00 pm on trail 1 next to the main parking lot. Banner will be up where we are racing (18 and up ONLY, MUST wear helmets, $10 entry fee going to St. Jude's) 1st place = $150 gift card to Rock your 4x4, also 2nd & 3rd place Prizes to come!)

We have a crew of 10 or so rigs coming rv sites an cabins reserved....

Hope to see a large turn out! Our goal us $10,000 this year, We are going to have a large raffle, 2 rides up Rattle Rock, Barbie Jeep Race, and an R/C Rockcrawl competition. Please come out and support a great cause at Windrock April 12th.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE DONATE ANY KIND OF BARBIE, POWER WHEELS, 4 WHEELER ECT NEW, USED, BROKEN, WHATEVER for us to use for this event. You can bring them to the M&G, Ray Luisa can take them, or bring them to the event. Or for some real JEEPER fun MODIFY & bring your own!
Here are the Race Rules:

Only rules are must have plastic tires, a steering apparatus, and a helmet. the power wheels gears have to be disconnected to be free wheeling. 2 at a time single elimination format

Are they permitted to beef up the units, frame or axles??
Answer: Yes everything build wise is allowed as long as they follow those other rules

EVENT SCHEDULE:

9:00 am Event starts with 4 wheeling beginning at the Trail Head.

10:00 am See Rattle Rock Club members dominate the very difficult Rattle Rock trail.

11:30 am ET4WD RCs Event.

What trails are you guys hittin'? I've got a hi-steer stud broken that i'm hoping to extract today with minimal drama. Prolly end up breakin' the inner C off.....i'm that good.

Hi steer bolt / stud fixed....can't wait to relax on the trails and hopefully get some good video of people doin' the same!!!

Was a HUUUUGE turnout!!! Was good to see some faces I haven't seen in some time! Trail conditions and weather were pretty awesome. I have some pix and vids to upload...but i'm tired and wore out from getting a 3 wheeled Rockwell buggy up Cadillac Hill!!
