U can drive up hwy 116 and park at Browns Flats. It's not too far from Waldens Ridge and u won't have to worry about ur tow rig. From Windrock main parking lot it is a long ways

Never ran the trail and never plan to.....a long ways out for a bunch of nerve wracking death drop offs. Completely opposite of the kind of wheeling I like to do(i like to chill/relax). I'll leave it for the Gayzers and 4wheelers.

I bet it looks worse in the picture. Is it close to Atomic?
Sorta....it's the closest trail to it I believe.

Well...closest "real" trail. Most stuff out that way is rzr / small tire stuff.

It was definitely the craziest trail I have ever been on. We had mixed feelings about running it, but some local guys we were riding with that helped cut it, wanted to take us on it so we went. Now that we have done it, I think most of us will just check it off the list and probably won't ever run it again. The first couple hundred yards are the bad part, after that the rest is just another trail. There are parts of it that you have less than a foot on each side before the straight drop off. Any issue with driver error, spotter error, or vehicle malfunction and you won't survive the rolls off the side of the mountain. Most parts on the ridge don't even have anything to winch off if you do get yourself in a little trouble. Even though some parts look pretty wide they have quite a bit of slope to them.

I've run it now 3 or 4 times and I don't think I'd quite that far, somewhere I have a vid walking across and it's not that narrow. The very first 50-100 yards of the trail is the hardest part (before you ever get the ridge) and a full width rig can (and has) easily run this trail- see below video but would agree a good spotter is highly recommended. Gears help getting up on the slab and keep you from overshooting the crest once you've made it up on top and then again coming down the last 20 feet of the steep descent. It's really not that difficult a trail ya just have to watch what you're doing.
