They come as a laser cut and cnc bent stack of tube on a pallet unless you order it tacked or welded together.

Gotcha...see I learned something in this thread! It was that easy...

a bomber chassis would be sweet. i always liked them and jimmy's i guess cause you don't see an awful lot of them on this coast.

just search his posts/threads. there have been some rocky roads. Hopefully he'll pull this off successfully...? :dunno:

posting on a forum is an invitation of scrutiny. Can be good or bad. We'll see I reckon.

i see that now. idk maybe this one will shape up to be something cool. why would anyone leave WOD i would love to work there.

I love how people have so much great advice but when it comes to working on there own rig they drop it at WOD and say Rocky what do I need ???

That is the difference between ability and execution. Everybody just chill the **** out and see where this build goes...

Dont care about the back story, but the thread title lead me to believe I would see some boobies.

I R Sad Panda :(

Great build love the front end looks like it will take some hammering!!!! :driving:

Listen batshit. You need to reup your subscription to huked on foniks and learn how read more good. I never gave any advice, and I don't see any advice given. If you post a build thread you should expect questions. It's a fair question to ask a builder why he welded over perfectly good welds on production fabricated knuckles from a reputable company. I've never seen it done, and based on the response to my question, neither had anyone else. If there was a good reason for it, we all would have been interested to hear it. He could have come out and said, "yea I learned that from Randy and it's for XYZ reason" and we'd be like "cool never seen that before, proceed." But, he chose to duck the question instead because, and I'm speculating here. there's no good reason and it probably does more harm than good.

But whatever, we're trolling. Or maybe you just can't read so you skipped to the end of the thread and posted more of your worthless bullshit.

If anyone is trolling, it's you. Nothing wrong with using a professional shop to work on your rig. You should probably try it sometime. Maybe you wouldn't end up with a 33 spline junk front axle that leaves you 3 wheeling and stranded on the trail every other ride :flipgotcha:

Bwaaahaaaaaaa

I know the other threads turned into a big ****ing circus, but lets let him set the tone for the thread instead of us starting the ball bashing right out of the gate. Lets wait for him to give us a good reason to bash. Just my opinion.

I guess I will ask the same question again since it wasn't answered.
Why did you weld on top of the welds from spider trax?
Just for looks? Or is there a strength benefit?
Just curious

I have asked that twice with no answer. So I guess he likes the look of it and no other reason. :dunno:

Guys. Guys! You all are trolling! No questions. This is a build thread where we should all just stroke each other's peckers and tell one another what a great job we are doing! Positive energy guys!

I'm going to say its all for looks considering he avoids answering the question. I would guess that he feels his pretty tig welds look much better than what it had so he went over it. Sounds like an enormous waste of time to me. I hope he isn't billing the customer for that time unless the customer is asking for it.

X2 it's for looks. I will give him credit as he does a good job walking the cup and free hand weave. I really wish he would do more prep work and clean up the tubing before he welds it. But what do I know I only build locomotives.

I think that the chromoly scale is more valuable keeping it on the tubing. We like the welds. The corrosion resistance on these cars should be close to a peak before they start getting oiled.

Was hoping to see a bad ass Bomber being built.

Maybe you still can......if you have 6 more months to watch this thread. And even then, it could still be a crap shoot! :****:

Re:

Good work. Less words, more pictures will get you far on this set of builds. keep up the good work.
