Rock Crusher front axle caliper bracket question

Those measurements match what I have here as well direct parts from Solid.

I think you are on to something with the Spindle/Hub setup. I am not sure how to confirm if the spindle is an aftermarket or not though

If it turns out to be the spindles, my buddy isn't going to want to dump $300+ into this front axle as we are putting f&r steer 14s in after KOH. I'll probably just cut the bracket, offset it and reweld it. Or offset form it, but I don't know if that'll get the pins into the outer edge of the rotor.

Why not just make a new bracket that mounts them with the "stock" 1 ton bosses that are on the knuckles and then lose that plate bracket. That is how a guy we ride with mounted up his wilwoods. Different application of course, but the same end result? Would be relatively easy to make a bracket that mounts there I would think. Easier than cutting, bending, and trying to keep spacing as well as through holes lined up.

These must've been one of the earlier axles. Had to grind plate and spindle down to knuckle contour for caliper to fit deeper.

Talked to Matt for awhile, my measurements for end of hub to wms is off around .100. Seal seems to fit a little deep on the spindle surface, so I'm wondering if the spindles are off or hub bearing shoulder is.

man - that is wild...but I guess par for the course on some of these older custom axles

Glad you got it worked out - looks like it should work out perfectly.
