Ok. I'm looking at getting a lift for my shop. Was wondering what brand you guys are using. I know I want at least a 10k lbs lift. But really was wondering about different brands. I'll be using it for my truck and jeep. I am also thinking about getting back into lift and leveling kit installations. Thanks ahead of time for your input.

I got a Bendpak 10k, its not bad i guess, price was good. Plus i figured if even they gave all the guys on tv (gasmky street outlaw) free lifts, and they use them to pick up their $150k plus car, they must not be completely junk!! I really liked "Forward" brand lifts, they are sister company to Rotary. They were priced good for the lift. If i every upgrade to a 12k lift, i think i'm going Forward

Been told several times that the Forward lifts are the same as Rotary but they use imported steel. Never used a bendpak but never heard anything bad about them. If/when I buy another lift it will be a rotary. I have 2 older American lifts that I use daily, not the best but they were free. Always hated Challenger lifts, one I worked off of at a dealer scared the crap out of me, just sketchy, moved a lot, seemed unstable.

My dad recently installed a Danmar 10k lift in his home shop. Seems to be decent quality the few times I've used it.

I have a Challenger 12K. They are owned by Snap On. Mine is not the imported model. Was not the cheapest, but it seems well built. I pickup a CCLB Dmax dually no problem. However I would give rotary a look next time. American made was important to me so Challenger and Rotary are it.

Your life is under it buy the nicest one you can swing. When I did mine it was down to bendpak and rotary. Pendpak was $3600ish me getting it off the truck and installing it and rotary was 4100ish installed. I went rotary. Pendpaks are good units though. I just wasn't going to mess with anything else based on my first sentence. Good luck a lift will change your life ! :****:

I did put the fact that your life in under it, that was also one thing that made me feel better about Bendpak. I realize it is all in the engineering of the lift, but dam Bendpak uses some heavy ass metal!! The post, arms, everything was built way heavier and thinker than rotary.. again I know its all engineering, but thicker metal makes me feel little better about things

Atlas seems Good to me. Greg smith equipment

That's what I have. Not used everyday, but after 4 years seems like it's holding up fine.

Now if you what a top of the line, HD, use everyday lift... Look at a Mohawk brand lift.

Have had our 10k Atlas up for a little over a year mainly used for jeeps but have had my 12 f350 up on it and feels good. We read horror stories about Greg smith customer service but we're great to deal with, had a damaged lift and refused the shipment and a bad contactor for the hydro pump which they shipped a new one immediately

Buy some tall safety stands for it. I got a set years ago for our lift at work but I like the set that I got for my home shop from Greg Smith much better.

Looks like I'll be going with a rotary lift. Got a good price I can send you the salesman's number if you PM me.

I got hella lucky with a used one, had to repair a hydro line damaged in transport but oh man what a life changing tool to own ! :****:

I bet. Can't wait to get it installed. Then I need to drum up some work to pay for it. booyang

I make my students use them with the two post lift we have at school. Unfortunately I've heard they are replacing all the school systems two post lifts with four post lifts. They have different functions. I hate to lose my 2 post.

I have a challenger, its nothing special, 10,000 lb lift. I don't use it every day but it lifts anything I put on it, from mini's to duallys. I've been happy with it. I wanted something that had good service support and Challenger is in my home town.

One other thing, if you have an option of one being extra wide, go for it. So you can fit a trailer under it to lift off non movable vehicles.

Looking to install a lift this spring....Debating between the Danmar 10CX or the Launch Tech USA TLT210-XT . Where did you gets purchase your lifts from?
