Most of these were just taken on two short trails. Its hard to convince my wife to get out and take pics when were just cruzin right along.. Seems like back when we used to struggle she was hopping out snapping pics all the time!

Nope we buy our day pass at the gate off N. Idaho rd, 10.00 per vehicle. Got checked out by one IEP patrol while we were up there. They pretty much make sure you are being safe, have fire extinguishers and stay on the main trails.. you were probably up there out of season, its a fairly short season that you can run trucks up there...

This area is fairly good for variety. Theres as much steep rutted climbs as you could ever want.. Only a few rocky sections up there though, mostly just tight twisty rutted stuff makes up most the best trails. And since it never rains here, its best to go up right away in the spring when they open it when its still really challenging and sloppy..
Farther over into Idaho it gets better and better though. heres someones pics from the cabin fever run a year ago..

This terrain is more comparable to whats on the west side of the state..
