    Dads 69 years old and owned a Case 580c backhoe for going on 36 years, it came up the other day he been having issues getting up to operators station. Made a set of steps today hopefully it makes it easier for him to climb abored. Going to do some other things to hopefully help also.

    Thanks, I think the light mounts turned out good, but alot of this truck is a 50 footer to look at. Got rear gears and detroit installed, and with the traction bar mounts close to the 14 bolt oil fill plug I decided to take some hydraulic plug and cap and make a oil fill hole on the cover...

    Decided to work on hydroboost today turned spool valve down in the drill press, started working on porting the housing. Plan on cleaning it up some more, but a bad hip and this wet weather got to for the rest of the day.

    We did a trip like that a few years ago, got on hwy 421 in Indiana drove it all the way to Virginia, Maggie valley was awesome to stay in. We did a little over 1300 miles, and only about 150 of was interstate to get home.
