I started my stop watch, when Josh Blyler left the line, I wanted to know how long it would take them to run the woods. He popped out of the woods in 17:08 with Erik Miller on his tail. Interestingly, that was the same as Miller's fastest lap time.
I am not sure, but, he said the same thing about a 4 link and the lowers. I have always heard the center of the panhard being the RC on 3 link. I would bet it is all more complicated than that, just some rules of thumb.
This is the way mine was done when it had 8" Housings, it was attached to the truss on one end, and the high steer on the other. I was this way when we bought it, seemed to work good.
