Mine have held up pretty well. instead of a poly bushing for them to ride on I made little rollers to slide on the bolt. They seem to move really smooth for me. its drooped all the way in this pic.

I built sliders for my truck and ditched the shackles and it sits way better now. I also got a better pinion angle out of it... I would highly recommend this..

either way, you gotta love the desert terrain. A whole different style of wheeling than the rain and ruts over there..:tumbleweed:

Yeah theres wheeling over here and North Idaho. Tell me about your rig? We are doing a run over to Idaho on the cabin fever trails here in 2 weeks or so..

I live in spokane and I'm not going. There are people sleeping in line to get the good trails, its first come first serve. I dont want to get stuck running a logging road with a bunch of stockers. I'll just go run the trails later without the rush..

I might run around with ya one of these days, if this looks like your style anyway....

very cool, thanks for the info. Mine is a mile marker 8000 and weighs in at about 80 lbs so I plan to keep mine in the back most the time as well.

I just got my winch today and am planning on making this my weekend project. Anyone else here done this? Any tips or hints would be helpfull.
