    I had one but never without the stock tcase. Trans are pretty tough. Iirc you can put a aw4 in with a dakota bellhousing and then run a 241/300 setup or just get inchworm adapter for like 600 for toyota a340 and someone will probably give you the trans

    Anybody ever own a KLR650?

    Pretty much they suck at high speeds as they are more dirt than road. But they are adequate at both. Theyre heavy and vibrate but cheap and fairly reliable

    They're better at dirt than high speed asphalt. Not good at either offroad or street ut ok at both. What's your intended pupose? Comute sub 45 ocasional gravel roads with easy slow trail is ok. Reading your reply it sounds about perfect

    its alive! put gas in the tank sucked fuel up to the carb put a couple drops in the carb and hit it fired right up! now i need to bleed brakes and clutch make a front driveline and its all down hill now

    with the lift im runnin (about 4") i dont think it will be an issue and mine is moved forward 15"s from stock it hasnt been wheeled yet but on flex tests i havent had any issues with it hitting the frame
