    My step Dad's ranger started turning the alternator light on, so he replaced the alternator with his spare. Now it's turning the light on above idle.     Would this style of wheel with the shallow lip be unusable as a beadlock? I'm wondering if they wouldn't let you get the bolts threaded?

    Don't pay $180 for the Ford racing mini starter kit! It's just a stock starter with a fancy cable! Starters are $16.99 at pick a part.. of course, all the V8 rigs are missing them already.. but the 3.8Ls are ripe for the picking... as they use the same starter as the 4.9, 5.0, and 5.8...

    I found the source of my slow coolant leak and terminal antifreeze smell. Yeah, it's down there, right above the motor mount which is bolted to the huge engine crossmember which blocks direct access to it to pound a new one in... :mad: How well do those block heaters seal up? Looks like...

    "Low Tox" vs conventional coolant

    Are there any differences between the two for heat exchange properties? I'm wondering if running low tox at 50/50 in my bronco might be one of the many contributing factors to it's overheating ills.

    I got one of these Summit "racing" radiators for my bronco.. it has no mounting provisions on it at all... I'm guessing a "cradle" style of mounting would be best? Got any pics or tips from people who have this style of radiator?
