    Troubleshooting brakes

The pedal does get easier when the engine is on, but on steep hills it still rolls (in neutral) unless I'm putting a ton of weight on it. I figured the MC on it now would be too small since I think it can from a jeep with 30/35 axles

    Troubleshooting brakes

Scout II Dana 44s, disc front, drum rear. Currently using a YJ or TJ booster/mc/pv and they're a ***** to use. Pedal is firm, but takes the strength of a bear to hold while on hill. Pedal doesn't seem to leak down, but I also keep getting air in the lines (plastic lines, so I can actually see...

    propane tank mounting

I have 4 tanks, but have had the problem with all of them. As muddinmetal said, the issue is when leaning over and the tank valve is pointed down. The pickup sticks up in the air, and if I'm in that position too long it starves. I usually swap the hose over to the spare tank and end up with a...

    propane tank mounting

From your pic, looks like your tanks go from front to back. Mine were going from driver to passenger. It would be cool if there were aftermarket pickups available, sort of like the walbro ones that close themselves off when not in fluid. My problem is when the pickup tube is on the opposite...

    propane tank mounting

I used to have my tanks mounted flat, but I kept stalling when leaned over too far and they weren't full. The tanks are now upright, and i get almost 1/4 tank more. But it looks ugly. Do yall with flat mounted tanks have the same issue? Do you just deal with it and not try to lean a certain...

    9 inch front axle???

Isn't that Carlisle a 33" tractor tire? Those scout axles will be fine with a 35-37" tire assuming you aren't trying to bounce up hills and your buggy is relatively light weight Aftermarket alloy shafts are available as well

Sold/Expired Wtb Dana 20 ( got what I need now, thanks. You can delete)

Re: Wtb Dana 20 I've got a Dana 20 in Augusta Ga. It's attached to a t-15 and an AMC bellhouse, with a new-ish clutch. No shifter since it was set up as twin stick and i kept all the linkages. Dana 20 has new seals, and was used up until a recent trans/tc swap. Has CV yokes as well as stock yokes
