    Late 96 4.3 harness

The 4.3 in my buggy was also a late year 1996... I weeded out the harness myself, and the engine is mated to a Turbo 400... works like a champ. Shoot me a PM with your email, and I will send you a detailed list of the computer pin outs, and which wires go to where... I also have the notes of...

    4.3 vortec

After talking to you yesterday, I did a bit of research... and I found a couple references that state there is no vacuum hose connected to it since it is inside the manifold, the source of vaccum. You just need to point the nipple down... since the air flow is coming from the top, flowing...

4 wheel Disc brake brake booster???

I don't know what the weight of your rig is... but many buggy guys, running 40" tires, run the F350/E350 master M/C with no booster (this is what I am doing)... some guys also run the Scout booster with the F350/E350 MC.. but I don't know the actual size. From what I understand, most...

    TJ D44 Carrier Breakage...

Anyone ever see this happen on a stock TJ with 30" tires (non-wheel'n daily driver)? Loud whinning sound started this morning on the way to work... when I got home, I pulled the carrier to find this... anyone got a D44 carrier for 3.73 gears?

Biggest camper for my short box?

I'm sure others will state otherwise... but my understanding is that regardless of total length of the camper, you should get a camper designed for a 6ft bed (or 8ft bed in the case of a long box)... as the center of the weight of the camper is different for campers designed for a 6ft vs an 8ft...

    Dana 30 axles

You can run the ABS shafts in a non-ABS axle. Also, if you have ABS, and you buy non-ABS shafts, you can easily take off the ABS tone ring/collar and put it on the non-ABS shaft in place of the dust shield. As long as the XJ D30 is not vacuum disconnect, you can run them fine.
