    I like strokin it!

It increases line pressure in the program, the extra line pressure added causes it to bypass on the cooler bypass(I mentioned in the last post) and causes it to run hot because its not getting to the cooler, hence the bypass tube pressure valve is allowing the fluid to bypass the cooler causeing...

    I like strokin it!

If your going to tune it I like the edge evolution tuner and manual gages. The evolution really wakes up a 7.3 (as much as they are able without major mods). Get the bypass tube block off kit for the banjo bolts on the side of the trans. It prevents the trans from grenading quickly. If you...

    BF Goodrich Commercial T/A Traction

It appears to be a nice tire. I was going to buy them but got a better deal on a almost new used set of toyo m55's. They are reasonably priced and very heavy duty tire.

    Diesel shops in Wa??

I missed the wording in the post, I just read the first one. The six position chips are nice, I have never seen tony wildman stuff but I have seen other six positions and they are very nice. If your on the cheap do the 10k mod, it will add some low end power and cost is real cheap if you have...

    Diesel shops in Wa??

You didn't say if you just wanted pmore power or just maintianance work, If your looking for a nice power upgrade I would get an edge evolution programmer and manual gauges to moniter temps. It takes minutes to install and really wakes up the old 7.3.

    CJ5- Shortest transmission

I would do a 4l80e and a 203/205 doubler. Tough setup there. Then spring it over with 4" lift springs.

    spool locker question ?

Your wheel bearings are double nut with a lock foldover nut, which keeps it from loosening. Why is it when you use a solid pinion spacer it seems to eliminate the pinion bearing failure? Have a nice day brad I don't have time to speculate on your thoughts I have stuff to do.

    spool locker question ?

The most common failure in a toy diff is the pinion crush sleeve which in turn causes pinion bearing failure.:redneck:

    spool locker question ?

As I said, if they had 250k and showed signs of wear then I would replace them, If they had 50k I would definelty consider using them. I was only suggesting as I don't care for a failure and the most common failure in a toy diff is bearing failure which cause catastophic failure of other parts...

    spool locker question ?

Prob depends on whether or not it got excessive heat or galling from it. I would replace them as I don't care for a bearing failure and have to change them in a short time anyways. I would get a full bearing kit unless it had low milage.
