    Toyota filters aren't too expensive. Its worth it in the long run. I would just buy them and stick with them.

    It really depends on how you plan on using your truck. If you are just running trails for hunting and camping with some off-roading you will be just fine with an IFS lift imho. Now if you want to get a little more extreme in your wheelin' then I would look into a SAS.

    I have IFS right now, on on road ride is nice and its fairly decent on the trails. But I would'nt keep it for long or spend any money to modify it. Going solid axle is kinda a hands down option, unless you are looking for a pre-runner for high speed off-road or dune running, then a built IFS...

    I would check the fusible link or the wires going to the ignition switch. Never in all my years heard of a battery or alternator take out a starter.

    On my 91 22re I have all emission parts and solenoids removed. I have only one vaccuum hose for the fuel pressure regulator. Which spot on the TB should it go to? Some ports have vaccuum at idle and some have none.
