    I need a new hitch

I put a Putnam Class V XDR hitch on my rig after my stock Chevy 2500HD Class V hitch bent. It's good for 15,000 w/o weight distributing hitch - 16,000 with one. It made a big difference with a 3 foot hitch extension (for the camper) flat-towing my CJ7. The price is good considering you could...

    2008 Pnw4wda Trail Jamboree

We're in. It's up to $175 this year + $20 for my oldest who turned 11 last year. It's gone from a good deal to an OK deal.

    Single Axle Jeep Trailer?

Any thoughts on a single axle trailer like this? http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/rvs/562007402.html I've been flat towing and a trailer would be nice. I have a 11'3" camper so the combined weight of truck, camper, trailer, and CJ7 is a concern.

    dual optimas

If your running dual batts, you are pulling a lot of amps. You need two Yellow tops. Both your batts should be of the same type, manufacturer, and mfg date.

    camper tie downs

TorkLifts are the way to go. I bought them at Central Welding in downtown Kent - great service. Frame mount, very strong. I ended up making my own spring-loaded chain mounts. http://www.torklift.com/ You will want to consider air bags as well.

    CJ7 Exhaust

I can do quite a bit myself. I did all the work on my CJ with the exception of re-splining the axleshafts and machining the flat-top knuckle, that's only because I don't have the tools to do it. I don't have a bender to bend up the pipes. Even if I did, I imagine there is a bit of an art to...

    CJ7 Exhaust

Yeh, I was thinking about a single as well. Maybe dual to the muffler and then a single tailpipe out the back. I'm running the offset Quadra-trac, so I don't have much room underneath on the passenger's side. I have lot's of room in the middle and driver's side though.

    CJ7 Exhaust

The headers and side exit mufflers gotta go. I have a set of manifolds to bolt on. Where is a good place to have a V-8 dual exhaust system made? Or is pre-fab the way to go? It's only a FI, HEI, 304, so I don't need any kind of super-flow setup, just something with a little rumble under...
