    Finally back to an RV

They ran my antenna cables right down the center  None the less, I made a bracket out of wood (yuck. I hate working with wood) and reinforced that area. Definitely a strong spot! ~T.J.

    Finally back to an RV

Where did you get the door handle/latch and freezer hinges? I just installed a stereo and speakers in mine tonight. TV and wall mount is next. Almost doing the same as you, but a little different. ~T.J.

    Reiter Rock Crawling Competition

Yes! I've been trying to find the owner for years to try and buy it back. It's been sold a few times since I sold it. I had thought someone might know him since obviously they are involved enough to have heard about the competition and attend. ~T.J.

    Finally....Da new rig..

Man that thing looks killer! Love the buggies people have been building with all the style. Wish I could afford one, haha ~T.J.

    Finally....Da new rig..

Are you worried about glare off the hood with that light bar? I've heard some people have had that issue. I think it might depend on the quality of the projected beam though? This thing is looking so good. I can't believe how much progress you have made. Makes me and my little project look...

    Finally....Da new rig..

Yeah, he talked on the phone with me after he was there. He invited me to go with him, but I had other commitments at the time. I want to stop by and check it out myself at some point. Maybe when he picks his stuff up I can tag along. ~T.J.

    Finally....Da new rig..

This looks SO good. It's a big change from the old one, but I think it's well deserved! You excited or nervous to learn to wheel a new rig? ~T.J.

    Heavy duty ball mount

I know it's an expensive solution, but it would be safer; what about a weight distribution system? You can get a drop shank with the weight ratings and length you need, plus the weight distribution system would help with towing stability and the leverage on the hitch itself... Or, you could...

My Shop, My Shop, My Shop!

On your load sheet you have one circuit listed as both the lift and the lift outlets. Wouldn't you want to run the lift on it's own circuit and outlets near it separate since the lift is more than likely 220 and the outlets you want 110? Looks great, wish I had the space for a shop at my...

    RTW trail opening BBQ

We stopped in on for an hour or so our way home from camping. That little trail looks like it caused a lot of trouble. when I first walked up Crash was winching out a red jeep, which then got stuck again I think 2 more times. I also saw a green buggy winch itself past the gate keeper (then...

    RTW trail opening BBQ

We are going to try and stop by on our way back from camping in eastern wa. Hopefully we can make it there in time. ~T.J.

    RTW trail opening BBQ

We might be camping then, but if we are back we will try and make it out. Did I miss what time this is supposed to start? ~T.J.

    Dodge 5.9L water pump

I remember something about the coolant temperature sensor giving false readings after doing either the intake manifold plate gasket or the water pump job, can't remember which. I think it was the water pump. Either way, as I recall, something about the location of the sensor makes it easy to...

local place to get good metal hole saws

I think the speed/feed and cutting oil has a lot to do with it too, just like a drill bit. That said, I like the Lennox ones myself. ~T.J.

I think they did it wrong.

Oh. My mistake. I assumed you meant the "guy opens his shop for us" was the guy doing the suspension work/front axle and you were supposed to take it from him to fix it. If it was left like that, that's a whole other story. ~T.J.

I think they did it wrong.

They could just be for mockup while building links and he later planned to put the suspension through it's paces and measure for the correct shock length... Then again, the guy could have planned to re-use them as is, who knows. The fact is, it's not "done" and we don't know what the finished...

I think they did it wrong.

You can flip the 3rd member over and it will mount up just fine and run the correct direction. Tacoma SAS guys have done it before plenty of times instead of swapping t-cases, using custom housings, etc. No need to toss it, if he isn't going to use it, sell it to someone with a Tacoma that...

    open on weekends

Went out there today around 3. Any idea what difficulty they are going to call this trail? I ran the whole trail in Ashley's 4Runner which is stock gears, stock IFS, no lockers, a 4" lift and 35" Toyo MTs. It was certainly a challenge in two spots because of how the rocks funnel you down the...
