    exactly. we replace atleast a dozen cords a year on fords, almost all of them rubbed thru from drivers yanking on them etc. i think ive seen 1 heater its self fail open, never had one fail shorted. but yes mike, i still do due dillagance and test things before replacing.

    im 6'3" 36" inseam so a 29er with a 20" frame fits good and is the direction im leaning. and yha, hard tail... as far as type of rideing, prob street and trail mix, i used to be an adrenoline junky, but ive tamed that over the last few decades. so mostly fire roads, trails etc, no downhill...

    grab the fan, see how much resistance there is turning it by hand, will it free spin? its not to hard to un bolt the fan and run with out it as a test. its cold enough you dont need it... aside from that, basics, does it run smooth? tire pressure? a couple psi low is all it takes... converter...

    .045 for me on most normal builds. if its got a super hot coil ill push to .060 i also allways run fine wire plugs, makes it ezer to jump the gap and makes for a fatter arc

    some where between the vaccume pump, and every thing else. it is a small vaccume circuit. it may also be a weak vaccume pump. if you put a gauge on it it should make almost 30" almost instantly, and should hold vac for atleast 10 min after shut down.
