almost bought an edge but decided on a custom chip from twildman. 4 position chip with custom burns. woke the PSD up but i still need bigger injectors. next comes fass fuel system. then stage 2 injectors with big oil...
may, or may not have to set the timer for more than an hour.. i know when it dropped below 32* in central CA i would have to set my timer for 4-5 hrs but that was ona f250 PSD. that was to get my truck warmed up before a 6 mile drive to work.
i was doing some reading yesterday and i think you can tweak the fuel pump on those. from what i read they choked them out so's not to compete with the new PSD motors hp/ torque rating. good luck man.
if i remember you have to remove the drive shaft. something with the tranfer case being lubed by pump. i know it has been asked a couple of time on the bronco2 board. www.broncoii.org
well south of sac and just east of Fresno there is some good wheeling. bunch of trails Dusy, Swamp Lake, ect. near ventura/palmdale theres gorman not the greatest but some wheeling.
yeah 22-24 hrs sounds about right if your doing 55-60 mph. when i drive by car it takes about 17-19 to get from Mt. Vernon to L.A. for some reason i dont see to many hwy patrol maybe im just lucky and i thought the 55mph towing was just for big rig's???
thats what i installed last weekend. nice system just a pain in the butt for the OBS PSD's. so far i love it i can here the turbo better i also noticed it gets from 65mph and up alot faster.
Grommit327 i guess you can rest when you get back i just hate that drive. it's cool to about Redding and then it's just a$$ till you hit hwy 58. done it many times with no sleep but haulin toys i definetly would be getting some rest.
yep, yep!! nothing but road in front of you. if you convoy...
JV's in or just north of Victorville... you can take 5 south till SAC and then in SAC hook up with 99. just make sure when you get into sac pay attention to the signs.
hmmmm!!! i'd have to say that the hammers or dusy ershim are the best trails just my $.02. dusy if you like to camp and fish as well as wheel.
anyhow you guy's should have a good time pack worn it's cold as hell in the valley and i can only imagine how cold the high desert is.
i need to weld up some aluminizes exhaust tube. im not sure what kind of wire i need for my mig welder. im pretty sure it's aluminium but the tube is aluminzed and im not sure if that is mixed or all aluminuim...
thank's Fattz
radiator barn is where i got the 4.0 rad for my bronco2 good price 1/2 what autozone wanted and good service. i'd definetly get another from them if i need one.
yeah i've been searching the net. i found one for 75 buck's but im worried about delivery time. im gonna call some of the rental places around here. if i cant find something reasonable i will use the scissor jack method. i got one of those laying around.
