Yep, I moved the front spring mounts forward another2" for a total of 8" (the destructions for the lift said 6") and all is well.

Yup.. Bobby Longs bead locks for sure.. the shock hoops came with the lift, and as far as motivation.. I didn't really understand how involved this lift was until I was already into it.. Almost done though!!

good feedback Thanks everyone for the feedback.. I may take you up on that Rick! Thanks! I took the axles apart again and going with 5.29's and longfields in preparation of the lift.. Doesn't look like anyone here is doing backflips for coils over a nice spring setup..

that is the leaf set up I am considering..

85 runner. gonna lift it... 4 link front w/coilovers or stick with leaf springs... Clearly the coils are more dough.. are they worth it? 36"-37" tires is the goal
