hey guys was wondering what coilovers people are using on there truggys? iv parted out my 79 to the extreme hacked the frame and begining to round up some parts... looking at building my own 4link set up from ballistic or TG.. so with that being said where do i start to look for coilovers...

yes those are 4 inch springs, i bought them from skinny pedal here on the board and he ran them lightly on his rig i had them for a few , its his tires that make it look huge, i had 35"s on my rig with them and it looked great even with a 2 in. body lift:awesomework: the bumper looks great...

it was all on there before i had the motor, i thought iv read somewhere about timing advance ...like it has no rev till it spools up??? idk im at a loss right now cuz it wont even drive on the freeway..only goes about 45mph with it to the wood!

so guys i did a motor swap in my 85, the motor runs fine at an idleand when you rev it up... when you get it out on the road under its own weight the thing is gutless, like it has no power till 3 grand on the tac, it does have 411's with 37"s but i had no problems pushing them with the old...

no i didnt pull the carrier the things spins great no side to side, maybe i just have to pull the whole thing back apart and start over?? those bearings seemed ok but ya never know what happens in there...:rolleyes:

Negative...this rig was super.clean...had all stocker parts... never looks to have ever been wheeled...

Wish I still had it pulled... sumone told me it was the hub...took it that apart...not a whole lot to go wrong there...brand new 30 splines... hell this thongs become a headache lol

Just installed a brandnew lockrite in a 410 diff...pushing 37 tires...I can pull up to drivers tire... drives right up....pull up on pass tire...racthets hard... but still spins just lots of noise.??? Anyone else have this problem?? Heard there is replacement springs?? Any help would be great...
