    Discovery Pass Locations...

So Ive been out of the loop for a few months, and am just hearing about these discovery passes. I went to the website for them to figure out what they are for. It sure wasn't very clear on anything. I know I need several of them for different rigs. But My question is what am I actually...

Elbe Rock crawl and Rainier Vista

I think it should be on the more difficult side. The whole point is to take some of the pressure off of the Busywild. The only way that will happen is to make the trail more challenging then the busywild. If its not, those that run the busy will keep doing so. There are plenty of people out...

Copper Creek has a little washout

Yup, Great for deep snow most of the time, and if you like dealing with people that have no business being up in the snow past their limits, Especially during the christmas tree hunting season.

Copper Creek has a little washout

Go up the road a bit around the croner where that rock pit is at on the right, about 1/4 mile past the pit... This is where the first slide was a month or two ago but it grew a little more Looking down from the road And this is the new slide

Copper Creek has a little washout

First thing you see, the stuff is a sand/clay stuff. Wierd texture, almost like kitty litter, furtilizer, or fine aquarium rock or something. Where it has washed down over the road Where it came off the hill It also went across the road down the hill as far as you can see.

Copper Creek has a little washout

Went up to copper creek today. There had been a small washout a month or two back that put a bunch of sandy like material across the road, no big deal, just looked kinda neat. Well, its a lot bigger now. Theres a couple feet of it on top of the two feet of snow where its at. And it runs...

I was hoping that pile of Big rocks there at 204th was going to go up there... Sounds like they just didnt want to drag the trailer up there, i wouldnt want to either.

    88-98 chevy dumped in elbe

Theres a dark blue chevy sitting up at the end by where they dumped all the rocks this weekend, wheels gone, windows broken out, has minnesota plates on it. Have misplaced Nancy's contact info, if someone talks with her might want to mention it. Damn thieves, makes me sick every time

Elbe Rock crawl and Rainier Vista

Bummer. A friend used to work for a guy that occasionally hauled big rocks, I will ask him if he would be interested in doing something like this. His trucks are in the eatonville area so there wouldnt be much for wasted fuel just to get here. Next time I see him i will ask.

Elbe Rock crawl and Rainier Vista

Might have a little better luck finding a side dump for the large ones, they are usually more apt to haul those.

    Elbe

Those atv tracks in the first picture were from me and a friend. We rode up there from my house on friday but encountered deeper snow then expected on the way. By the time we got there we didnt have enough fuel to play on the trails and had to return home. When we got there there was one set...

    Important new Busywild restriction update.

After reading through all of this, I think the best solution Ive seen that will help solve some problems, yet keep most happy, is a gatekeeper/knarly obstacle at the begining. Leave the length/width restrictions out. Build a difficult obsatcle right at the start. Something that an...

    Important new Busywild restriction update.

The trail i am referring to is more like a skidder trail (dont know if it was ever an actual orv trail as it was blocked off before I got to try it). If you were sitting at the bottom of the hill climb where i would assume the gatekeeper will be for the rainier vista crawl. There is an old...

    Important new Busywild restriction update.

I agree. I also dont know how they would enforce it other then someone out there with a tape measure or jig or something. A lot of people out there wouldnt care about a sign saying, "no longer then 109" wheelbase", and there are quite a few that dont even know their wheelbase anyway. I think...
