Plans feel apart for us coming down Luey  All this **** in Libya stirred up some "leaving for deployment early" stuff so we canceled our reservations. Loong way to come for a day :booo:

Walker conditions as of March 5th

LOL well I suppose you are right because there are no signs saying this is not a trail and what i am speaking of is so heavily used it may as well be, but is not an official trail on the map. Its a bypass created to make the trail more challenging :awesomework: But aneeeeways Walker was a blast...

Walker conditions as of March 5th

Cool. Dont see many people running them yet, but they appeared to do well in the UA videos. It was a fun day to be up there!

Walker conditions as of March 5th

Yeah same with us. We came up the other way and the only tracks were quad tracks after the Jeep cross turn off. I was surprised how empty it was up there! How do those kevlars do in the deep wet stuff?

Walker conditions as of March 5th

Yeah there was close to 2' in the upper pit! What time did you run Rons Run? Jeep Cross right? We ran the lower portion with the log pile around 4 and the only tracks there were going down. It was a great day to be at Walker for sure! LTB's flat out work in the deep wet snow! Wherever I pointed...

    Setting up new rear springs

Need to know a few things. Is the center pin hole centered or offset. Determine which way you want to run the springs if it is offset. The front mount will be determined by the distance from the center pin to the forward mount to get the tire somewhat centered to your preference in the...

    Walker, Ron's Run Re-route....

It wasn't too bad going up today. We ran it late in the day so it was soft. Few of us drove it fine, and a couple other needed a tug. The obstacle is fine IMO and if you need a tug its all part of the game.

    5.9 into a Chebby?

I think it's Tennessee Diesel Conversions sells the new crossmember and motor mounts to simplify the process.

    Walker, Ron's Run Re-route....

I was of the volunteers that went up to attempt to block off the bypass. We weren't really up there wheeling. We actually went up with the intent of working as long as needed then a couple guys were gonna wheel afterward. We spent most of the day working. No the logs probably aren't a permanent...

Denied at Walker Valley (V Crack.)

The left side is fun to try. When you bump it hard it sort of kicks the rear tires up and backwards. I think I got all 4 off the ground last time i tried! :haha: Quoted for truth. I wouldn't try either in a rig with less than a 95" wheelbase!

Denied at Walker Valley (V Crack.)

The small trail to the left of the V-notch is getting pretty bad too. I could drive both of them last year, but the V-notch is near vertical now and the trail to the left of it has an undercut on the now exposed bolder that is about 4' deep! Sorry to bring the thread back on track :corn:
