    Rimrock trails open????

We just went up at around 8:00 last night and ran with the hi-lights on. Not a soul around after dusk. I usually barrow a flood and tri-stand from the job site so if repairs are needed I've got a 1000watt blaster.:fawkdancesmiley: We ran up FS538 and then we ran trails 4W677 and 4W661. We took...

    Toyota Rod and Main Bearings

I ended up going with the King Race bearings, found alot of threads on 1/4 miler forums. Turns out they're far superior to non alecular bearings like Clevite. These guys tear down and inspect after so many passes so they had plenty of wear photo's comparing the two.

    Toyota Rod and Main Bearings

It's as 7m and it probly wouldn't hold 800 on the bottom end, just can't stand these guys that crack on "rice" motors.:haha: Eat a **** PUO :awesomework:

    Toyota Rod and Main Bearings

Are you trying to crack on a block that will hold 800rwhp on a stock bottom end ? You need a real joke to tell, not these fairy tails you're posting.:haha: This isn't an R series block.

    Toyota Rod and Main Bearings

Hmmm ? This is what they're claiming about thier alecular bearings: "The layer of Alecular material is far thicker than traditional babbitt overlays (.015" vs. .0008"). This provides much greater embedability, especially for the macro-particles (greater than .0004" in diameter) that are most...

    Toyota Rod and Main Bearings

Thanks WHITE TRASH, I think I'll be going that way. I'm finding that I'd have to buy outrageous priced main caps to use a wider race quality bearing. I'm going with the Clevite 77's unless anyone comes up with some testimony on something else.

    Toyota Rod and Main Bearings

I've never built a toy motor before and I'd like to replace the rod and mains with the highest quality replacement bearings I can find. Is there anyone out there making a better bearing than Clevite or Beck-Arnley? Thanks, Frank

    Samurai camshaft??

You're on here telling people your reground cams are better than NEW billet cams produced by Lunati, Crower and Comp. While you're peddaling welded globs on used cams from castings ? It's simply ludacris and then you're attempting to crack on someones intellegence ?:looser:

    Samurai camshaft??

" You will never find this quality with a new camshaft. " :haha: Oh man, I don't think I've ever smelled a more pungent line of bullshit.

Just how strong is a 700R4?

Go with the th400. This is a dyno for an OEM 700r4 vs. a modified one.

    Samurai camshaft??

Not ever gonna come close to using a turd, reground cam. This is like installing overload springs to compensate for a flat tire. Might as well run retreaded tires too. Stop by the junk yard if you need to be cheap. Just don't go the cheese ball route. A reground cam isn't even good enough to...
