It's super cheap to make aluminum linkage. ****, I probably have enough crap sitting around my shop to make some for free. You can always loosen up the slipper clutch a bunch so when it binds it will just slip the clutch... Free assurance....

Get him the same thing and gear it down a crap load

yes i took it apart to drill and tap and clean. thats how i replaced some of the seals:redneck:

It worked fine but the box leaked like crazy so i pulled it out to rebuild it and it was too far gone to rebuild. picked up another box, drilled and tapped it, cleaned it replaced a few seals that were questionable. put it in and cycled and bleed it forever. started the truck up and let it run...

My free time is scarce and i need to get a new steering box drilled and tapped for hydro assist. Is there anybody in the south that can do it for me? I live in Orting.
