i have basically the same setup in my wagoneer except it's a th400. i would run an np208 or 203/205 double like previously mentioned.

how challenging is the Kaner trail? the reason i ask is because i want to attend this work party and help out, but don't want my rig to be a hindrance to the group.

You will need a discovery pass if you want to legally be on DNR land. Check to see if any of the trails you will be running are on DNR land before you go out. I wouldn't buy one until then.

Won't work. If you get caught by a DNR Leo you will get a $100 ticket. I was up in Tampico (Autanum Forest) this past weekend with my tow rig and my wheeler (flat towed) with one discover pass that had both plates on it. The Leo's came up Fri evening and checked for discover passes. They told...
