    Parking brake Toy/60 question

Similar experience. The caddy calipers can be tough to activate. They can also be a bitch of a pain to get set up and adjusted to work, period. Perhaps the newer generation of 3/4 or 1T with factory discs? Likely won't be as cheap, but will be easier to find off-the-shelf parts I imagine...

    Dana 60 camber question???

Funny this popped up... I was just poking around because I found the same kit in ONE SIDE of my D60. I thought the idea looked pretty slick for a street truck...but I could see where strength would be a concern. I planned to double check straightness then toss the suckers for a set of correct...

    Bear 2011

Spring bear can taste pretty nasty. Fall bear is generally better, but it depends on what they've been eating up until the point you took them. A garbage dump bear is a garbage bear...and high elevation blueberry field bear will obviously taste much better. I seem to take a lot of bear in late...

    Bear 2011

I've witnessed two taken so far. LOW elevation. I'm getting into them every night, but this low elevation SUCKS with all the brush. Called one in about an hour ago into a clearcut that was cut early last spring...but the fireweed and ferns were just tall enough not keep from getting a good...

    What caues death wobble?

First step is to rotate your tires and see if it moves/goes away. Could be an issue with the tire, or a bent wheel. Beyond that, these guys have given ya a ton of good advice. It often starts due to something being loose...worn tie rod ends or other steering parts, loose/bad bearings...

    Gahhh! 88 ranger electrical issues

I've seen grounds do some strange things...Check for corrosion... Any chance you don't have an adequate ground from the motor to the frame, body to frame, and to the battery?

    Tire on the roof?

Run down to the junkyard and get a spare steel wheel for $10-20, and get yourself a 30ish by 8.5-9.5" tire. An inch or two won't make a big difference in terms of driveability...look at most modern cars with "space-saver" spares in the trunk. This will take up less space, and perhaps fit under...

    detroit truetrac or lock right

Lots of guys out there running trutracs with tires larger than 32" Plenty of guys in the hotrod world running into the 10 second 1/4mi, too...they are stronger than just about any stock, open carrier from any manufacturer, and are definitely stronger than lunchbox lockers in the vast majority...

In need of a back packing gun.

First off, there is no SAMMI specs for a +P .357 Magnum. Second, +p won't do you any good if you don't have the barrel length to take advantage of it. +P ammunition means they pack an extra .2-.3 grains of powder behind the same bullet. IF you already can't take advantage of the powder you...

In need of a back packing gun.

Even a .357 out of a 2-3" barrel isn't going to have much punch...look at the ballistics, the .357 needs at least a 4" barrel...preferably a 6" to take advantage of it's power. With a 125gr Speer gold-dot fired from a 2" barrel, velocity is a meager 904fps. The exact same load from a 4" barrel...
