Re: 1968 Dodge D200 Tow rig/Daily driver Project *PICS Updated)
bumping to top of the lists for motivation. you are doing a killer job. keep posting. thanks.
did you guys video any of this process? would be cool to see it all happening with parts relative to our sport. this is extremely interesting and exciting.
I'm in the same boat. 2002 srw. rusting to death. debating on flatbed but like the normal truck bed the best on srw. has anyone done a dually conversion with the original axle? or swap entire axle out for a dually axle?
I like this idea also. I mostly ride Harleys everywhere. tried to do some parking lot trail scouting on it this week. The looks on the guys faces were priceless when i crossed the mud holes and creek on the Harley. made me want to start looking for a lighter, more maneuverable bike. KLR is...
would be nice if there was a vehicle wash down area also, concrete pad and pressure washer would be fine. keeping the local roadway clear on damp, muddy days will help with morale of neighbors and townsfolk.
start the picture frame now, hang it on the wall with the pic you have and empty spaces for the next photo in that series. otherwise you may loose the pic or time will escape you and you'll forget to take the photo. great idea on this project.
kudos.
very interested. I am going to upgrade my steering soon also. currently have high steer but am starting to look at hyd assist options. I'm leaning toward buying the kit from trail gear.@$275.00
hopefully you can also post the cost of these upgrades.
I'm interested in what it would cost a normal person with no sponsorship to do the same upgrades.
I plan on keeping my 7.3 a long time and these upgrades are sure to be in my future.
thanks for the informational videos and letting us...
