I actually built a 441 SBC back in 2011. It started as a Dart block with widened oil pan rails to clear the stroked crank. Raised camshaft center. We used a 4.125 stroke crank with 4.125 bore. Of course we had to use custom built pistons from JE. Used 12.5 degree Brodix heads with offset...

Depending on the year model, GM did make a Th350 with Lock-up.(OD) These trans were garbage! Actually had an electrical harness for the lockup.

From the looks of them, the green one has the adjustable unloader (can be run continuously) and the blue one will require a check valve to unload in the off cycle. A quincy is definitely top of the line and parts are readily available. You could even replace the motor with a single phase as long...
